John has over 12 years of experience in many areas of the property tax assessment field, focused mainly on commercial and industrial assessments.  He has worked with 5 different Indiana counties on their reassessment projects. John also worked exclusively for the Porter County, Indiana assessor as the director of appeals and commercial assessments where he argued cases before the IBTR, as well as dozens of local appeal boards across the state of Indiana.  In addition, John has experience representing property owners as a property tax representative in more than 20 states. 

 

John lives in Valparaiso with his wife Michelle and their 2 sons, Chase & Brady.  He is an avid golfer and die-hard Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan.  When not on the golf course or coaching his son's sports teams, you can likely find him spending time with his family, whether it's at the beach, on the lake, or simply at home - maybe even planning their next trip in their quest to visit every MLB stadium in the country!
